Millen Baird, Auckland Daze

Millen has appeared in many TV shows, and wrote, acted in and co-produced hit web and TV One series Auckland Daze. The show won Best Comedy Script for a TV series at the 2012 NZ Writers Guild Awards. Millen has just finished filming season 2 of Auckland Daze which should hit our screens in late 2013.

 

 

Kiel McNaughton, Auckland Daze

Kiel is co-creator, producer and director of Auckland Daze. He runs his own production company and has always held a love for film and television making, both acting in front of the camera and producing behind it. Kiel played the role of James 'Scotty' Scott on Shortland Street for a number of years and performed stunt work for Power Rangers and River Queen.

 

Cate Owen, MediaWorks

Cate is planning the future of social media in a traditional media environment, encompassing social media policy, reporting, strategic direction and implementation. With over a decade’s worth of experience in online community management and as social strategist for many of New Zealand’s leading media brands, Cate Owen is among NZ's leading authorities on social media. She also actively blogs at http://cateowen.co.nz which features the popular NZ "Tweets of the Month".

 

Andy Patrick, Film Construction

Andy is Head of Digital at Film Construction where he develops integrated content by telling great stories for the pixel loving masses. He has worked in the media industry for over 15 years at companies like Disney, BBC, More FM, Juice TV, and MTV. His roles often incorporated the space between traditional TV broadcast and digital, primarily translating big screen to small screen.

Boyd Wason, pluk / Foxtrot Media

Boyd is the CEO and co-founder of Foxtrot Media and sister company, Tango Communications. Boyd is the ‘entrepreneur’ behind pluk and he leads the strategic and business development of Foxtrot Media. Recognised as an industry pioneer and leader, Boyd is deeply passionate about helping marketers develop interactive strategies and working with them to successfully implement and achieve their objectives.
